Time-Resolved Confocal Fluorescence Microscope

State of the art MicroTime 200 (PicoQuant) is a time-resolved confocal fluorescence microscope facility with single molecule sensitivity that allows fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) and lifetime imaging (FLIM) studies. It is equipped with an inverted microscope (Olympus IX 71) containing a water immersion objective (Olympus UplansApo NA 1.2X). Three different pulsed diode lasers (405 nm, 485 nm, 640 nm) up to 80 MHz repetition rate can be used as excitation source. Fluorescence signals pass through the confocal optics prior to entering into two single-photon avalanche photodiodes (SPADs). The facility allows measurements based on FCS, FLIM.
